This study offers a parametric design method to solve problems during the design process (programming, urban planning, building design, structure planning, and facade planning). This study is applied in the design of the mix used building design in Milan. The objective of the study is to explore the uses of a parametric design method for Decision- making and simulation optimisation for different design phases.

The result of the study is a method for planning and design that is more advantageous than the conventional ones in terms of modification and optimisation of complex design decisions This method enables the designer to do many iterations and monitor changes during the design process.
